Here’s what you can expect from this session:

Photographers spend the majority of their time behind the camera, photographing families, models, weddings, and many other things. For a lot of photographers, finding the opportunity and the time to have a place to network and talk about the nitty gritty in business is hard! Finding out what works for others and what works for you is essential in growing. This session is intended to help get your questions answered and help you find out ways to help elevate your brand. Work with other attendees to see what tools and workflows works for them. A session like this can breathe new life into your business.

Portlands Next Bridal Styled Studio Shoot is Now Live!

The Details

What: This is a Bridal Styled creative studio shoot. We will have three distinct sets, with three distinct aesthetics, and three distinct lighting setups / Natural light. Each model will have one look that compliments the set they are assigned to.

Where: New Wave Studio - 1028 SE Water Ave, Suite #265

When: Saturday, April 6th, 2024. 1pm-4pm

Photographers: You may arrive up to 1 hour early. Just know that shooting begins at 1pm sharp!

Models: You may arrive as early as you need to in order to make sure you are ready to go and start modeling at 1pm sharp!

Vendors: You are welcome to come in and set up the night before or come in as early as you need to in order to be able to start 1pm.

Deliverables: At the end of every single workshop we send out an email. The email will have everyone involved including any links, socials, and websites to their work and offerings. We also include a gallery where everyone can upload their work so vendors / models / artists have a place to grab images. We understand you also can send them via your normal way you deliver images / video. At the end of the day we are all creating and want to make sure everyone involved is recognized.

Schedule:

1:00-2:00 begin shooting detailed shots / layflats / Mingle / Network

2:00-2:30 beging shooting with models at sets

2:30-3:00 rotate sets

3:00-3:30 rotate setes

3:30-4:00 Network, Mingle, Keep shooting (Free for all shoot)

Purpose of this Styled shoot is to expand your creative horizons, diversify your portfolio, and connect with like-minded professionals and creating content for everyone involved in order to help advertise your business and connections. Join us on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, as New Wave Studio teams up with our friend Paisley (@paisley.jpeg) proudly hosts a special photography event dedicated to the Black & Brown communities of the Portland Metro area. This event is all about celebrating our community, kicking off Black History Month with creativity and unity.

Pay What You Can:

• We encourage everyone to contribute what they can, but please know that no one will be turned away due to a lack of funds. Your presence is what matters most.

• This event is a first come first serve and each photo session will be 15 min long.

Registration:

• You have the option to register online in advance, or simply walk in on the day of the event. A name & email address will be required (in order for us to deliver your images to you!)

Getting Here:

• When you arrive at the studio, dial 0265 at the call box located at the door between Boke Bowl and Bunk Bar. We will buzz you in for a warm welcome.

• Take the elevator to the second floor, and you'll find us in Suite 265, located to the left of the elevator.
